State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov explained why officials need business class flights. This is the only way to sleep, the parliamentarian told the “360” channel.
“He sleeps there. Okay, let’s put him at the toilet, who will be better from this, that he will fly to Moscow and will not solve anything, because he will be all overwhelmed,” Milonov explained his point of view.
He also noted that when ordinary people fly on a trip, they can get to the place (to the hotel, etc.) and sleep off. Civil servants do not have time for this, they usually arrive for a day from a city with a different time zone. “We want them to work. I would deliberately not do any strictness for these people who need to fly far,” Milonov concluded.
Earlier, the acting head of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev, reacted to the appearance of a message about business trips of officials at business class rates. He recalled that on August 5, he signed a decree on the obligation of officials to fly only in economy class. In this regard, he urged not to believe fakes.
