Prince Harry’s wife Meghan is ‘saddened’ by accusations of harassment dating from when she lived with the British royal family, revealed within days of a potentially damaging interview for the crown, her door has said -speak.

The daily The Times reported on Wednesday that a harassment complaint against assistants was filed in October 2018 by Jason Knauf, then Harry and Meghan’s communications secretary.
A spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex said she was’ saddened by this latest attack on her person, especially as someone who has herself been the victim of harassment and who is deeply involved in supporting those who have suffered suffering and trauma ”.
“She is determined to continue her work of advocating for compassion around the world and will continue to strive to lead by example to do what is right,” he added.
Lawyers for the couple told The Times the newspaper was ‘being used by Buckingham Palace to peddle an utterly false story’ ahead of the scheduled March 7 broadcast of the interview with Harry and Meghan by US TV star Oprah Winfrey .
This interview is eagerly awaited in the United Kingdom, where the press and royal experts are watching for possible revelations from the couple, who had not hidden their discomfort within the royal family before withdrawing from it the year last.
According to clips already released, Prince Harry explained that his “great concern was that history was repeating itself”, apparently referring to the death of his mother, who was killed in 1997 in an accident in Paris while she was trying to escape the paparazzi who were chasing her.
Prince Harry, 36, sixth in the order of succession to the British crown, has repeatedly denounced media pressure on his couple and made it the main reason for his withdrawal from the royal family, effective since April 2020.
