Students from the three regions still have not received social payments due to their internship during the pandemic in November-December 2020. Students from the Arkhangelsk region and the Altai Territory reported this to Izvestia. According to other sources, a similar situation is developing in the Far East.
We are talking about two state medical universities: Northern (SSMU) and Altai (ASMU), as well as the Far Eastern Federal University.
“Some of the guys who did the internship came across covid patients. The payment for the internship has not yet come to anyone, ”a student of the SSMU, who wished to remain anonymous, told Izvestia.
The administration of the university, in response to a request from Izvestia, reported that the funds for payments to the educational institution did not arrive on time, and the issue “is being resolved at the level of the founder” (Ministry of Health).
The students applied to the regional trade union, as well as to the All-Russian Student Union (ARU).
By the beginning of March, the delay will be already two months, which means that the situation falls under the Criminal Code. According to the chairman of the ARIA Oleg Tsapko, the union has prepared appeals to the IC of Russia, the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Health, which it intends to send to addressees on March 1.
