The man who was killed in the street in the Val-d’Oise department in France may have been a teacher at a local college. The alleged killer turned out to be the parent of one of the students.
According to the newspaper Parisien, the teacher allegedly conducted free speech lessons for his students. In particular, he showed them caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.
Earlier it was reported that in Conflans-Saint-Honorine, located 27 kilometers from Paris, a man beheaded a man, while shouting Islamist slogans. The police arrived at the scene and opened fire. The intruder was shot.
The incident occurred three weeks after the attack on the former building of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, in which two were seriously injured.
