03 May The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 9,160 new infections, which is significantly less than the previous day (16,290). There were 84 corona deaths per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence increased slightly to 146.9 (146.5). In three federal states, this figure is below 100. Currently, 5029 patients are undergoing intensive care. More than 22.3 million people in Germany have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 3,425,982 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases in comparison with the previous day increased by 9,160 cases. In total, 83,276 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
The data is based on a statement by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), which receives information from the German regional health authorities. They provide updated information several times a day.
