The nationwide 7-day incidence dropped to 146.5 (148.6). In two federal states, this figure is below 100. Currently, 5009 patients are undergoing intensive care. More than 22.3 million people in Germany have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 3,416,822 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases in comparison with the previous day increased by 16,290 cases. In total, 83,192 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
