The Magellan shopping center in Pskov may move to another location in the next two years. The head of the Pskov administration, Alexander Bratchikov, announced this during a live broadcast on the Ekho Moskvy in Pskov radio station today, July 29.
“The town planning council decided that there should be no Magellan on Rizhsky prospect,” he said.
The head of the administration stressed that the option of moving the shopping complex to another plot of land is currently being considered. But it is also important that the changes do not affect employees and the interests of customers.
Alexander Bratchikov recalled that the shopping center can stand still until 2025, when the lease agreement expires. But the city authorities hope that in the next 1-2 years it will be possible to agree on the transfer of the trading place to another part of the city.
