The Russian football club “Lokomotiv” in the away match of the group stage of the Champions League on Wednesday, October 21, met with the Austrian “Salzburg”. The game ended with the score 2: 2.
Antonio Eder opened the scoring in the 19th minute, who put the railroad workers ahead, but before the break, the player of the Austrian club Dominik Soboslai equalized the score.
At the beginning of the second half, Salzburg took the lead after a goal by Zlatko Yunuzovic. Lokomotiv was saved from defeat by the substitute Vitaly Lisakovich, who distinguished himself in the 75th minute.
Salzburg and Lokomotiv play in Group A. In the second round on October 27, Lokomotiv will play Bayern Munich, and Salzburg will play Atlético.
Two more Russian clubs participate in the Champions League – Zenit and Krasnodar. On Tuesday 20 October, Zenit lost to Club Brugge (1: 2), while Krasnodar drew with Rennes (1: 1).
