Lena Lenina’s manicure studio in the center of Moscow may be closed for 90 days for violations of measures to prevent coronavirus infection, the press service of the Department of Trade and Services of the city of Moscow said on Monday, October 19.

Inspectors of Rospotrebnadzor during an examination of Lena Lenina’s manicure studio in the center of Moscow revealed a violation of the disinfection regime.

“There was also a violation of the disinfection regime in terms of surface treatment, upholstered furniture is used that cannot be processed,” said Elena Kalugina, chief specialist-expert of the Rospotrebnadzor department in Moscow.

According to her, for the revealed violations, an individual entrepreneur faces a fine of up to 150 thousand rubles or the closure of the salon for up to 90 days.

Over the past day, 15,982 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia in 84 regions. 179 people died, 5328 patients were cured.

Most of all new cases were recorded in Moscow (5376), St. Petersburg (686) and the Moscow region (466).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,415,316 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in 85 regions in Russia. During the entire period, 24,366 people died, 1,075,904 people recovered.
