The head of the administration of the urban settlement “Krasnogorodsk” was punished for improper consideration of complaints from local residents. As MK in Pskov was told in the Pskov region prosecutor’s office, the supervisory authority found out that in June 2020, residents of one of the streets of the village wrote a collective appeal to the local authorities.
In this letter, they asked to restore the sewerage system located near their homes.
Due to the fact that this question belongs to the competence of local self-government bodies, the answer came from there. The administration promised that work at the facility will begin in the third quarter of this year. This did not happen, the repairmen never arrived at the facility.
This was the reason for bringing the head of the administration of the urban settlement to administrative responsibility. He was found guilty of violating the procedure for considering citizens’ appeals and was fined 5 thousand.
