The press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports on the tragicomic story that happened in Kostroma on March 10: on that day, rescuers had to go to the apartment of a 79-year-old pensioner in order to free him from the embrace … of the bed.
The reason for such an unusual challenge was that the old man’s bed was not simple, but equipped with a lifting mechanism … in which the pensioner’s leg got stuck.
The pensioner was rescued by a woman social worker, who at first tried to help her ward on her own, but then despaired and called 112.
