A 19-year-old white-kholunitsk orphan turned to the supervisory authority for help and thanks to this he received housing in the regional center
The prosecutor’s check established that a 19-year-old orphan, a native of the Belokholunitskiy district, studied in one of the technical schools of the regional center in 2019 and then intended to stay in Kirov. The young man notified the Kirov city administration that he would like to receive a “state” apartment in the regional center, and not in White Kholunitsa, but was refused due to the fact that, in the opinion of the municipality, the young man missed the deadline for applying for a change of location provision of housing. The department of guardianship and trusteeship of the city of Kirov, the regional prosecutor’s office informs, sent the relevant information to the head of the Belokholunitsky district. However, the young man was not taken aback and turned to the city prosecutor’s office for help.
The inspection ended with a prosecutor’s statement of claim to the court demanding to satisfy the request of an orphan studying at the Kirov technical school. The court of first instance refused to satisfy the claim, then the city prosecutor appealed against this decision in the appeal instance, and the judicial board of the Kirov regional court supported the prosecutor’s office, obliging the city administration to give the young man an apartment in the regional center. The execution of the court decision is controlled by the prosecutor’s office of the city of Kirov.
