Kazan residents have a chance to get skateboards made of recycled plastic in exchange for plastic caps, Tatar-inform writes. To do this, from August 26 to September 6, at least 50 plastic caps from any drinks must be handed over to the interactive exposition “Kazan – a city without waste” located in the Cube container center in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest.
You also need to take a snapshot of the interactive exhibition and post on Instagram or VKontakte social networks a post with a review of it using the hashtags #Kazangorodbezwaste and #shared, and also mark the account of the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest.
On September 7, five winners will be selected using a random number generator on the forest park’s Instagram account.
The lids will be recycled, and the proceeds will be donated to the Cat and Dog shelter in Kazan to help homeless animals.
