In the Kaluga Region, residents with coronavirus and undergoing treatment at home have already received free medicines worth 7.2 million rubles. Such data on Monday, December 14 at a meeting of members of the regional government was announced by the Minister of Health Alan Tskayev.
“Free drugs from covid have been delivered to 5,202 patients undergoing outpatient treatment. And Kaluga – 2, 55 people, Obninsk – 234 people and the region – 2,912 people,” Tskayev said.
The delivery of drugs is carried out by health workers and volunteers themselves.
As previously reported, the Kaluga Region received funds from the federal budget, which it used to issue drugs for coronavirus infection during outpatient treatment of patients. The regional Ministry of Health was allocated 37.7 million rubles for these purposes.
Outpatient treatment is treatment carried out at home or when patients themselves visit a hospital. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the allocation of funds from the federal budget to the regions for the provision of drugs from covid to such patients.
