Kaluga Minister of Education and Science Alexander Anikeev on Friday, December 25, told who needs to wear masks in schools. This question was asked by residents of Kaluga on a social network. The head of the department explained that educational organizations received recommendations on the mask regime and that children do not need to wear masks.

“We will not introduce a mask mode in schools. Teachers are advised to wear masks in the corridors. It is not necessary to do this during the lesson. Children can be at school without a mask,” the minister explained.

Anikeev also noted that students can wear masks if they wish. However, the respiratory protection means must be periodically changed, as prescribed in the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor.
