Over the past day, the number of victims of coronavirus in the Kaluga region has increased by five and now is already 139 people. The COVID-19 headquarters of the region on Friday evening, December 18, clarified which areas suffered these losses.
Thus, a resident of the Babyninsky and Ferzikovsky districts born in 1940 and 1970, respectively, died of covid. In Obninsk, a man born in 1957 died, in Kaluga two residents born in 1934 and 1962 died.
The total number of infections with coronavirus infection is 18,838, of which 170 in the last 24 hours. The number of people who recovered increased by 165 to 17,577.
1,122 people are still undergoing treatment. Most of the patients are in Kaluga (208 residents), Obninsk (130) and Kirovsky (102) regions. The least of them is in Baryatinsky (five), Mosalsky (seven) and Kuibyshevsky (nine) districts.
