Investigators will check information about the death of five patients in a private medical clinic in the west of Moscow. This was reported by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for Moscow on August 13.
“<...> the investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee in Moscow have organized a pre-investigation check,” the message says.
According to the Investigative Committee, on one of the federal TV channels there was a story that five patients died in a private medical clinic in the west of Moscow. Relatives insist that low-quality services were provided to their loved ones.
The investigation carries out the necessary verification measures aimed at establishing all the facts specified in the information.
The story about a “series of strange deaths” in a Moscow clinic was published by the Russia 1 channel on August 12. According to the channel, several patients died there in three months, in connection with which Roszdravnadzor began checking the clinic.
Earlier, on July 23, it was reported about the death of the patient during the liposuction procedure in a Moscow private clinic. According to preliminary data, death occurred due to cardiac arrest during surgery, and poorly made anesthesia is also the cause of the patient’s death.
