The tragedy occurred on the night of January 12 in an apartment on the second floor of a nine-story residential building on Rassvetnaya Street, the area of ​​fire was 30 square meters. m. As a result of the emergency, eight people died, including a seven-year-old child who died during resuscitation measures. Another minor victim was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.

Because of the fire, 90 people, including nine children, were evacuated from the house. A temporary accommodation center was organized for them in gymnasium No. 176, psychologists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry worked with them. By now, all residents have left the temporary accommodation center and returned to their apartments.
