Employees of the investigative bodies, the fire laboratory of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Volgograd region, the Nizhne-Volzhsky department of Rostekhnadzor, as well as explosives experts from the EKTs of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia examined the detonation site of the gas station No. 36 and its equipment.
As reported press service of the ICR SU, During the inspection, washes were removed from the tank truck, as well as objects and fragments of parts of the gas station and areas of combustion and heat exposure. In addition, the specialists examined the technical equipment of the filling station. The gas station itself is cordoned off and is under the protection of the National Guard to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the emergency site.
In the near future, specialized specialists will have to conduct a technical examination.
Let us remind you that on August 10 this year, at about 12 noon, a fire broke out at the gas station number 36 in the Traktorozavodsky district. The station tank was filled from a gas tank truck on a semitrailer. At some point, the pipeline of a tanker truck ignited, which released excess pressure into the atmosphere. After a while, a powerful pop was heard at the station as a result of a fire, after which there was a large outbreak of fire.
A criminal case was initiated. Currently, measures are being taken to establish the circumstances of the emergency, as well as those who caused the fire.
