Ilya Shesterikov, self-nominated in 194 single-mandate constituencies for the by-election to the State Duma, was able to collect the required number of signatures from the residents of the okrug.

Ilya Shesterikov required signatures for registration. The candidate left the ranks of both United Russia and the Yabloko party. Therefore, an active independent politician and his assistants had to bypass 16 thousand Yaroslavl residents and residents of the region in order to enlist their support. Registration requires 15,000 signatures. But Ilya Shesterikov provided 1000 more. “In reserve”, that is, in case some signatures are rejected during verification.

The package of documents for registration as a candidate has been submitted. It remains to wait to see if it will be accepted.
