The man bought a foreign car worth 1 million rubles from his friend in installments. When buying, he gave only 50 thousand, and promised to pay the rest of the money later.
However, the Volzhan citizen was in no hurry to repay the debt. Instead, he resold the car for a million rubles and kept all the money for himself.
“The man also helped to resell this car to other persons,” the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office said. – The man did not compensate material damage.
The attacker denied his guilt. The defendant in the criminal case was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.
Note that the verdict has not yet entered into force and may be appealed.
