The Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Volgograd Region has taken measures aimed at supporting taxpayers who have suffered from the pandemic and have signs of bankruptcy.

According to the press service of the department, moratoriums on the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings were applied to 24 taxpayers who were most affected by the threat of the spread of the coronavirus and have arrears totaling more than 82.5 million rubles.

Those who are not subject to the moratorium and who are unable to pay off the debt at a time can conclude an amicable agreement with the tax authority. Thus, they will be able to pay off the debt to the budget in equal installments every month for one year.

In the first half of this year, 5 taxpayers, whose debt amounted to 39 million rubles, took advantage of the opportunity to conclude an amicable agreement, MK in Volgograd reports.
