The Volgograd Regional Court left the preventive measure against one of the alleged members of the banned religious organization unchanged.

According to the investigation, M.K. organized in the Volgograd region, as well as the regional center, a cell of the international religious association Tablighi Jamaat, whose activities are recognized as extremist and are banned in the Russian Federation. Five more joined him.

On July 31, all six members of the banned organization were detained by officers of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the National Guard. At the same time, the Central District Court chose the next measure of restraint – detention for a period until September 28.

Today the regional court left the decision of the lower instance the same.
