In Vladimir, a store employee found someone else’s bank card and paid her for her purchases

A local resident contacted the police in the city of Vladimir. The woman reported the theft from her bank account of more than 4 thousand rubles, specifying that before that she had lost a bank card in one of the shops of the regional center with the possibility of contactless payment for purchases.

After analyzing information about payments on the card and examining the records from video cameras located in retail outlets, police officers identified a suspect in a crime. She turned out to be a 51-year-old employee of a store in which the victim lost her card.

Having found the card, the figurant used it, paying her first for purchases at the place of work, and then in various grocery stores in the city.

At the moment, a criminal case has been opened against the woman on the fact of fraud using electronic means of payment, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Vladimir region reports.
