The operational headquarters reported details on the geography of the spread of infection in the region over the past day.
According to official data, on the morning of October 22, the diagnosis was confirmed in another 191 residents of the Volgograd region. Most of all new cases were recorded in Volgograd – 57 people. Volzhsky accounts for 42 new infections.
Several new patients were found in 17 municipal districts of the region. Most of all, 22 people each, became infected in the Kamyshinsky and Kotelnikov regions.
According to doctors, 6032 citizens are in hospitals of the region, of whom 1814 are treated with a confirmed diagnosis. Over the past day, 295 patients were discharged from hospitals, and since the beginning of the pandemic, 16097 residents of the region have completely coped with the virus.
