It became known how many Volgograd residents contracted the coronavirus on August 9. The number of infected residents has exceeded one hundred. Over the past day, a COVID-19 test has produced a positive result in 106 people.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Volgograd region, the diagnosis of coronavirus has been confirmed in 9,998 residents. Of these, more than 6.3 thousand patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital.
On the eve, two deaths were recorded. In total, 72 people became victims of the coronavirus in the Volgograd region.
In Russia, the number of people infected has increased by 5,189.
