One person died, two more were injured in a fire in a two-story barrack-type house in the city of Krasnoufimsk, Sverdlovsk region, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
The roof of the building burned down, the walls, ceilings and household property of eight apartments on the second floor of the building were damaged by fire. Firefighters did not allow fire to cross over to the apartments on the first floor.
The area of ​​the fire was 360 sq. m.
The victims – a man and a woman – were hospitalized.
Five units of special equipment and 30 people were involved in extinguishing the fire, the cause of the fire is being established.
According to the administration of the Moscow region, there were 20 people in the house, including six children.
For the victims of the fire, a temporary accommodation center was deployed on the basis of the dormitory of the pedagogical college, 10 people were accommodated there, including one child, the rest were accommodated with relatives, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Earlier that day, it was reported about a fire in Nizhny Novgorod, as a result of which a woman died. According to available information, the incident occurred during the repair. After the explosion, a fire started in the apartment.
