More than 13.5 thousand janitors were involved in eliminating the consequences of snowfall in the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development.
According to the ministry, the snowfall caused the transfer of the communal service to an enhanced mode of operation. Streets and courtyards were cleaned by more than 13.5 thousand people and 1.1 thousand units of special equipment, writes the Internet portal “Moscow Region Today”.
According to the portal, the cleaning regulations in force in the Moscow region provide for snow clearance within two hours after 2 cm has fallen. Ice rolls must be cleaned within five hours after the appearance of ice, and treatment with reagents – within two hours after a snowfall.
In total, more than 12 million square meters were cleared of snow and ice in the region. m, more than 13 million sq. m.
