In the Kostroma region, entertainment events in catering organizations were again banned. This is stated in a message published on August 12 on the official website of the regional administration.
“Over the past week, there has been an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 in the Kostroma region <...> The headquarters, in accordance with the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, decided to suspend the holding of mass events in public catering organizations. Including those located in hotels and holiday homes. The work of such facilities does not stop, ”the message says.
Despite the fact that the work of catering organizations does not stop, restrictions are imposed on the opening hours: from 1:00 to 6:00, only take-out service is allowed, provided that individual service is provided at the checkout, as well as delivery of orders.
In addition, a decision was made to change the format of some public events. Thus, the Kostroma Economic Forum will be held online, while the Jewelry Festival will be held with a reduced number of participants and a limited number of visitors. Events in honor of the Day of the city of Kostroma and the anniversary of the foundation of the Kostroma region will be held in the open air.
According to stopkoronavirus.ru as of August 12, 2,695 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Kostroma region. 2207 patients recovered, 34 people died.
