The final diagnosis “coronavirus infection” was made by the pathology bureau after research and PCR diagnostics.

Despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save the woman. Death occurred at 16:40. Astrakhanka had a number of concomitant diseases, including diabetes mellitus.

As of October 2, 2020, 116 deaths of patients with COVID-19 were registered in the Astrakhan region.
