In Tatarstan, three teenagers suspected of murdering a taxi driver were taken into custody, the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office said.
On September 28, the body of a 35-year-old man was found in a forest plantation near Mashinostroiteley Street in Zelenodolsk. A corpse with many abrasions and bruises on its head was in the trunk of a Vortex Tingo. Later, law enforcement officers detained three local residents aged 15 to 17, who partially admitted their guilt.
“With regard to the defendants in the case, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention for 1 month 30 days, that is, until November 28, 2020, with detention in the FKU SIZO-1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan,” the Kazan Reporter quoted the prosecutor’s office as saying on Thursday , October 1.
Criminal cases were initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 (“Murder”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as Part 4 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). In addition, the prosecutor’s office made representations to the heads of educational institutions where the persons involved in the case studied.
