The Taganrog city court convicted Roman Konovalov for a crime under the article “Murder”. This was reported on October 15th.
The incident happened in May 2020 on the Nekrasovsky lane in the city of Taganrog. Friends drank at home. During the meeting, there was a quarrel, during which the accused rushed with fists at an acquaintance, after which he took a knife and hit the victim several times in the chest. From which the opponent died on the spot.
In the course of the investigation of this case, it turned out that the man had previously been convicted under the article “Attempted Murder”.
– The court sentenced him to eight years in prison with serving a sentence in a penal colony of strict regime, – added the prosecutor’s office of the Rostov region.
