The authorities of St. Petersburg canceled the glove regime in public places, maintaining the mask regime until May 15. This was reported on the official website of the city administration on April 16.
The report says that the resolutions adopted by Governor Alexander Beglov abolish the obligation to use gloves at trade and consumer services, at the airport, in all types of transport, at train stations, stations and transport stops.
It is clarified that the rest of the anti-coronavirus measures remain unchanged until May 15.
Beglov also made changes to the city government decrees, allowing to organize a full-scale summer campaign for children.
“The restrictions imposed earlier on the provision of services, as well as on additional measures of social support in the field of organizing the recreation of children and youth and their recovery, are being lifted,” the governor of the northern capital said.
So, now it is allowed to increase the possible load of camps from up to 75 percent (earlier – up to 50 percent), it is allowed to organize the recreation of children and their recovery outside the subject in which they live.
On March 23, it was reported that hospitals in St. Petersburg had reduced the number of beds for covid patients by 50 percent.
According to the head of the region, in St. Petersburg there is a decline in the coronavirus pandemic. Over the week, the number of new cases of COVID-19 decreased by 5%.
Alexander Beglov noted that now about 15 thousand doctors in primary care work with the sick, more than 7 thousand employees in re-profiled institutions, and about 4 thousand employees in the ambulance.
