In the Primorsky Territory, a woman and two children were hospitalized, injured as a result of a car hitting them in an accident. This was reported on August 7 by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The incident took place on Thursday, August 6, in the village of Andreevka after a collision of Toyota Prius and Toyota Ipsum cars. At that moment, three pedestrians were moving along the roadway.

“As a result of the impact, the Ipsum was thrown forward on pedestrians by inertia. A 28-year-old woman and her two children were injured, a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. All three were taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity, ”the message says.

It is noted that the driver of Toyota Prius refused to undergo an examination for alcohol intoxication. Previously, he was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violations on the road.

An inspection is carried out upon the fact of an accident. An administrative case was initiated on violation of the rules for operating a vehicle, resulting in harm to health, as well as on failure to pass the test to determine intoxication.
