The Novomoskovsk court of the Tula region considered a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of repeated non-payment of alimony for the maintenance of minor children.

According to the press service of the court, a man is obliged to pay alimony for the maintenance of his two children. However, he did not provide any material assistance. The total amount of the alimony debt was 51,000 rubles. The court sentenced the defaulter to compulsory work for a period of 120 hours, but the man did not serve the sentence.

Then the court sentenced him to correctional labor for a period of 9 months with a deduction of 10% from his salary as income to the state.

Until the court’s verdict comes into legal force, the preventive measure against the convicted person was left unchanged in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place and proper behavior.

The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
