On April 15, Krasnodar hosts the third and final stage of the command-staff exercises. Vice-mayor of the city Andrey Doroshev is in charge of the event.
As part of practical training, the rescue service employees worked out actions to eliminate wildfires. Mobile command posts were deployed on the ground, operational response teams were working. Anatoly Dovgal, deputy head of the Krasnodar civil protection department, said that due to the climate, fires in the regional center are not uncommon, and therefore such exercises are very important.
To eliminate the conditional fire source, fire and engineering equipment was used – tank trucks, motor pumps and much more. There were also five fire and rescue teams from the municipal rescue service. In total, over sixty people and 13 pieces of equipment took part in extinguishing the simulated fire source.
