For 9 months of this year, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor carried out inspections against 34 legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who manufacture and sell meat products, the supervisory authority said. The inspections affected 45 objects, and in 35 – violations of sanitary legislation and legislation on technical regulation were found. So, the storage conditions of meat products were violated, there was no control over the temperature and humidity conditions of storage, there were no marking labels.
As a result of inspections, it turned out that the proportion of inappropriate samples of meat products for microbiological indicators was 9.9% – the percentage is significantly lower than the indicator for the same period last year. Meanwhile, in terms of the content of the mass fraction of protein, the proportion of nonconforming samples is 2.3%, which is twice as high as the indicator for the same period in 2019.
As a result, the Department seized 35 consignments of meat products – its quantity amounted to more than 294 kilograms, 17 decisions were made to bring the perpetrators to administrative responsibility in the form of fines, the total amount of which amounted to 863 thousand rubles, and 10 warnings.
