The Investigative Committee of Karelia has collected enough evidence to sentence the 42-year-old man who is accused of murder, the press service of the department reported.
As it turned out, on May 27, 2020, the defendant man was at his home in Belomorsk with his partner, with whom he drank alcohol. After some time, a quarrel occurred between them, as a result of which the man beat the victim with his hands and caused her multiple injuries. The woman was taken to hospital, but she died there.
For such an act, the court sentenced a resident of Karelia to nine years of imprisonment in a special regime penal colony.
