Due to the extremely large number of infected, some federal states are planning to tighten quarantine rules even more. – reports BILD. So, Saxony plans to introduce isolation of regions with a particularly high incidence rate and rapidly growing numbers of infected, shielding them from the outside world.
BILD reports that in these regions the police will block all entrances to the region. Residents will be prohibited from leaving the city. In addition, a curfew will be introduced during the day. Residents will only be allowed to shop at pre-determined times and in the immediate vicinity of the house. At the moment it is being discussed that no more than one hour a day will be allocated for this.
All companies and businesses in the affected areas must also close and cease operations. This model was tested in Jessen (Saxony-Anhalt) in the spring. The federal state authorities and the crisis headquarters have compiled a list of Saxon municipalities with a particularly high incidence rate, according to BILD.
Tightening the rules and will be made in a short time, perhaps this weekend – the fourth Advent or before Christmas.
