“Household consumers in 35 settlements of Kumtorkalinsky, Karabudakhkent, Magaramkent, Tabasaran, Derbent and Khasavyurt districts (about 49,700 people) were left without power supply. The power of disconnected consumers is 20 MW, ”the message says.
The press service emphasized that the Ministry of Energy took the situation under special control.
In turn, the press service of the Rosseti Severny Kavkaz company reported that from 9:00 Moscow time on the territory of Dagestan a special operating mode was introduced.
83 power engineers are involved in emergency recovery activities as part of 22 brigades of the Rosseti North Caucasus branch – Dagenergo. 26 units of special equipment were attracted.
“The company’s specialists conduct constant monitoring of meteorological conditions and are ready to respond to emergencies at power facilities due to bad weather. The accumulation of snow on the wires was provoked by the continuous rain in the region for three days. Heavy snow started the night before, ”the company said.
On November 19, a snow cyclone passed in Primorye, power supply was interrupted in more than 10 regions of Vladivostok. The movement of buses was partially disrupted, some flights were delayed, and ice formed on the roads. Due to power outages in Vladivostok and Artem, pumping stations that supply water and heating to houses stopped working.
As a result, more than 600 houses were left without heating in Vladivostok, 205 damages were recorded on power grids, about 200 power transmission towers were damaged, which provide lighting on the streets, at least 4.5 thousand trees were felled.
Since December 21, the emergency regime introduced on November 19 due to freezing rain and strong winds has been canceled there.
