In Chuvashia, on the territory of correctional colony No. 3, a decorative composition of flowers, a bridge and a fountain appeared. All these products are made by the hands of the convicts themselves, the press service of the regional UFSIN said.
The decor items were installed within the framework of a competition for landscape design and creating a comfortable environment. They were created by the members of the “arts and crafts” circle of the institution. The convicts accepted the innovation with interest, and the decorative fountain aroused special admiration.
Thanks to the work of the institution’s circle, convicts were able to competently improve the territory of the institution, make it more comfortable and pleasing to the eye, the Office noted.
