The prosecutor’s office intervened
While the Astrakhan servants of the law are checking public transport drivers for sobriety, a person who is registered with a psychiatrist with a serious illness turns out to be driving a car.
The prosecutor’s office of the Astrakhan region reported that the local resident had a driver’s license, despite a confirmed diagnosis of “Paranoid schizophrenia”. The driver’s license was issued with a validity period until 08/28/2028, so the man could easily use it further.
However, such a serious diagnosis is a strict contraindication to driving. That is why the man was deprived of the right to drive a car through the court.
