A prophylactic campaign to prevent child injuries has been launched in the Tver region. Governor Igor Rudenya spoke about some of the details on August 6 on the Russia 24 TV channel.
Due to the situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus, many children did not go to summer camps, and rest in villages, in summer cottages, and, most importantly, often without adult supervision.
– Our task today is to work more actively to prevent and prevent an increase in such cases. I would like to appeal to my parents – there is no need to give gifts to children such as scooters, mopeds, bicycles without proper instruction, without explaining traffic rules, behavior in public places. Today, the most important thing is to overcome the indifference of adults, not only parents, but also all those who are in society next to children. Only the personal participation of adults will teach children safe behavior, – said Igor Rudenya.
