Vanilla sugar
Homemade vanilla sugar has nothing to do with that found on the market, it is more fragrant and often less expensive … As we will fully grind the pod, it is better to favor organic vanilla. We pour 250 g of sugar into a jar and prick the vanilla pod several times with the tip of a knife. The pod is then placed in the sugar and left in place for 3 days. On D-day, we remove the sugar pod and pour it into the bowl. Cut the pod into several pieces and put them in the bowl. All that’s left to do is mix 30 s / speed 10. We then store the vanilla sugar in a jar and it’s ready!
Strawberry sugar Tagada
With its beautiful pink color, Tagada strawberry flavored sugar is perfect to accompany a pancake, or to decorate a birthday cake for your children. To make it, just cut 200g of Tagada strawberries in half, then place them in the Thermomix bowl with 100 g of powdered sugar. Then mix 10 s / speed 10, before adding again 100 g of powdered sugar and mixing again 10 s / speed 10. It only remains to pour the flavored sugar into a jar to keep it. . You can do the same thing with banana candies.
Citrus sugar
For a sugar with a good taste of lemon, orange, or clementine, the zest is first recovered from the untreated fruit. If we do not find indications concerning the cultivation of the fruit, we soak the citrus fruit in a bowl of water with baking soda to rid it of any pesticides. The zest is then dried for 50 minutes in an oven at 120 ° C (th. 4). We put them in the Thermomix bowl with 100 g sugar and we mix 10 s / speed 9. We add 400 g of additional sugar and we mix 40 s / speed 6 then 40 s / reverse / speed 9. We pour into a pot and we store.
Pink praline sugar
Place 200 g of powdered sugar with 100 g of pink pralines in the food processor bowl and set 10 s / speed 10. And it’s already over! We obtain a sugar with a pretty bright pink color that it then suffices to keep in an airtight jar.
Christmas sugar
To make small gifts or to flavor your Christmas preparations, we collect the zest of 2 untreated oranges and they are dried on a baking sheet for 50 minutes at 120 ° C (th.4). When the zest is cold, put it in the bowl with 500 g of powdered sugar and a stick of cinnamon. We mix 20 s / speed 10 and voila!
