“If a tweet from a world leader violates Twitter rules, but it is in the public interest to keep that tweet on the platform, we can place it behind a warning that provides context for the violation and yet allows people to click to view content if they want, ”according to Twitter.
In recent days, numerous tweets from the outgoing president have been the subject of this warning, since they contained or could contain disinformation about the outcome of the election.
With large blows of capital letters, he storms in particular since Tuesday evening that he won key states where the counting is still in progress, and that the Democrats organize electoral fraud (see tweets opposite, freely translated from English ).
“Some or all of the content shared in this tweet is disputed and likely to be misleading about how to participate in an election or other civic process,” reads his many posts.
However, once he moves from the White House, Trump will revert to being a regular user, meaning that his posts could be deleted in extreme cases, and his account could even be suspended.
