The farmers started harvesting crops three weeks later than in 2019. This happened due to the high moisture content of the grain and the delayed maturation of the ear. Five combines are involved in the work. Two more will start working soon. To date, 983 tons of grain have been threshed from an area of ​​262.5 hectares.
Also in the Serpukhov agro-farms, fodder is procured. The weather this year has favored grass growth, so more fodder has been harvested than expected.
The rural workers were also pleased with the harvest of greenery. From an area of ​​466 hectares, 6,000 tons of dill, green onions, cilantro, parsley, lettuce and Chinese cabbage, as well as sweet corn have already been obtained and sold. Ahead of vegetable growers is the harvesting of the main crops – beets, onions, carrots, potatoes and cabbage.
