The artistic director of the Modern Theater, director Yuri Grymov criticized the defense strategy of the actor Mikhail Efremov.
In his opinion, the artist is whining, and the strategic decisions of lawyers destroy him. Grymov recalled that immediately after the accident, Efremov did not deny his guilt in what had happened, and then even wrote down a videotape with an apology.
“These strategic decisions of lawyers, it seems to me, do not paint, but destroy Mikhail Efremov. Time, of course, will judge us, but we must remain a man in any case and not be afraid to repent, ”the NSN quotes him on August 7.
A similar opinion was expressed on August 5 by the honorary lawyer of Russia Alexander Ostrovsky. According to him, the actor’s lawyer Elman Pashayev is a charlatan, who by his actions worsens the attitude of the court and the public towards Efremov.
On June 8, Mikhail Efremov, while drunk, provoked an accident on Smolenskaya Square in Moscow. His car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Lada van. The driver of the domestic car, Sergei Zakharov, died of his injuries in the hospital.
After some time, Efremov refused to admit his guilt, and in court said that he did not recognize himself in the video from the scene.
