Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov criticized the progress of the repair of the problematic route between Purovsk and Korotchaevo. According to him, this year the road workers are leveling the slabs for 26 km and only three of them manage to be made in the asphalt.
“I agree that the work is unsatisfactory, if not worse. Workers should go out en masse and cut reinforcement, lift slabs and close up small sharp potholes throughout the Purovsk-Korotchaevo section. Yamalavtodor should start this work immediately, ”the head of the region emphasized.
As noted by the news agency “Ura.ru”, the section between Purovsk and Korotchaevo belongs to the strategic Salekhard – Surgut road, the only one connecting the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The track has been in poor condition for several decades. The site will be completely covered with asphalt by 2024.
Earlier, the head of the Priuralsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Ivan Sakal, got stuck in a traffic jam caused by a herd of deer. A traffic jam arose on the highway at the entrance to the village of Aksarka. Such cases of meeting motorists with deer are not uncommon for Yamal.
