As of Monday, August 31, 242,381 cases of infection have been recorded in the country since the start of the collection of official statistical information on coronavirus. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 to date is 9,298 people. There are 216,200 confirmed cases of complete cure from coronavirus. The R value in 4 days is about 1.04.
According to the Intensive Care Register, 240 people are currently being treated for Covid-19 in intensive care units. This represents 0.81 percent of the more than 30,000 intensive care beds in Germany.
