Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer is in favor of introducing “benefits” for vaccinated residents of the country during travel and holidays. “Vaccinated people will soon no longer have to do tests on entry and exit from Germany and be quarantined on vacation trips,” Scheuer said in an interview with the dpa news agency.

“Thus, travel for the residents of the Federal Republic of Germany will again become possible. Already this summer it will be possible to return to normal life in many respects ”.

Currently, everyone who has planned to travel by plane must present a negative PDR test for coronavirus upon returning to Germany. If a traveler returns from countries with a high incidence rate, he must be in quarantine after entering Germany. A PCR test is also required when boarding an airplane in Germany.
